WattsCalc publishes a conduit bending calculator and related charts for educational and field-reference use. The formulas follow commonly taught Klein Tools constants for offset multipliers, shrink, and typical EMT take-up. They are not a substitute for the markings on your bender, the manufacturer's instructions, an engineered drawing, or the National Electrical Code as adopted where you work.
Actual bend results change with shoe brand (Klein, Ideal, Greenlee, and others), shoe wear, handle length, operator technique, conduit wall thickness, temperature, and spring-back — especially on IMC and rigid. A number that is correct on a chart can still be wrong on the pipe in your hands. Make a test bend on scrap before you cut production conduit. If the rise is off, adjust the mark, do not blame the wall.
WattsCalc does not calculate PVC heat bends, concentric bends with custom radii, rolling offsets with independent X and Y, wire fill, jam ratio, or pulling tension. It does not track the 360-degree bend limit between pull points. It does not know your local amendments, hospital-grade requirements, or hazardous-location rules.
