WattsCalc app privacy

Last updated: 30 August 2026. This page describes the native WattsCalc iOS app only. It does not describe the WattsCalc website.

WattsCalc is an offline conduit-bending calculator. It has no account, login, network connection, analytics, advertising, tracking, payment, cloud sync, or third-party SDK. WattsCalc does not collect, upload, or sell personal information, measurements, or usage data.

Calculations, favorites, take-up preferences, and the safety-notice acknowledgement remain on the device. In Settings, you can clear recent calculations, delete all saved calculations, and reset each changed take-up value individually. When you choose to share a result, WattsCalc gives plain text to the iOS system share sheet; the app itself does not send that text anywhere.

The website is a separate product with separate data practices. Its optional analytics or advertising, when configured, do not apply to the native app. Read the website privacy policy for website data practices.
